Since its roots from the old bus depot in New Street back in 1996, to Moray House in Holyrood in 2003 and finally to it's new location to the Central Library vaults in the Cowgate in 2013, The Bongo Club has always broken the traditional mould for a nightclub. The Bongo Club is an Edinburgh institution if ever there were one, offering up a stellar selection of clubs that have helped build it's reputation as one of the best places to boogie into the wee hours, bolstered by occasional gig nights and, yes, it's very own beer garden too. Currently home to some of the Edinburgh's best-loved club nights, the venues musical policy takes in roots, dub, funk, soul, electro and more, basically, it's the perfect antidote if you've been subjected to too much chart music.
